Set the three dials, then develop. The plate shows exactly what the arithmetic did to the sky.
Exposure
The equation is the one every camera uses: EV = log₂(N² / t) at ISO 100, and opening the film two stops (ISO 200 → 400) buys you two stops of shutter or aperture. The scene states its own EV. Your dials state yours. Develop to see the verdict: within ±0.5 stop and the plate is exposed, beyond that the sky is either paper or mud. Grain rises with film speed and shows worst in the shadows, exactly as it does in a darkroom. Keys: Space develop, M meter, R new scene.
